  1. Will the Twins want Graterol to get a stop at Rochester before he gets called up to the Twins?
  2. It's amazing how I went from the beginning of the season thinking "Oh crap Pineda is pitching today" to now thinking "Thank god Pineda is pitching today"
  3. Probably not going to win it, but could definitely make a run at the top 3.
  4. Perhaps conditioning Graterol for a reliever role for the Twins this year? Those 3 Ks looking good. I bet he lit up the radar during that relief appearance.
  5. I like to come back to this article and just chuckle from time to time
  6. I think the Twins have something special brewing in Pensacola there. Looks like a lot of future MLB stars.
  7. Sano, May, Arraez = Good Cave = Bad I'm getting sick of seeing Cave in the outfield. Bring up De Aza.
  8. With Buxton being on the IL every other week it sure would've been nice to have Jaylin right now. There's room for him now. I bet he would've done better than what Cave has shown the Twins this year.
  9. Well I don't think the Twins can say they played it right yet. That will be determined by how far they get in postseason. As of right now, it looks like the Twins got played by the Giants.
  10. For the love of God stop taking starting pitchers out when they're cruising along and they have 80-85 pitches thrown. Pineda. 80 pitches thrown and was cruising...taken out after the 6th. Berrios last night. 81 pitches thrown and was strong through 7...taken out and the guy in the pen gives up a grand slam. Stop babying these guys.
  11. Sam Dyson at Oracle this year: 26.1 IP 0.34 ERA .393 OPS allowed On the road: 24.2 IP 4.74 ERA .730 OPS allowed
  12. ALDS game 5. 7th inning. Top of the Yankees lineup coming up in a 2-2 ballgame. Now pitching for the Twins...Lewis Thorpe. Still confident?
  13. Yup. The ol' Twins classic. Get some bullpen arms in the offseason just to DFA them during the middle of the season. Don't worry though. Our AAA guys with 0 playoff experience will save the day!
  14. Twins...you see what the Braves are doing? That is what you needed to do.
  15. I think the Twins go after Giles. The price will probably be lower now and maybe if we get him we put him on the IL or something to rest up for a playoff push.
  16. I wasn't a huge fan of the Romo trade off the bat, but I love players with that kind of energy. Hopefully he is effective for the Twins.
  17. The reality that we could very well be tied with Cleveland by the end of tomorrow is just mind blowing. Twins fans are putting a lot of faith in Cleveland not performing against the good teams in their upcoming schedule. Just don't be surprised if they keep on playing great baseball against those teams with that pitching staff they have. Twins seemed too comfortable with that 11.5 game lead, and this is what happens.
  18. Pineda has been very underrated in regards to his importance to this team. He's an almost guaranteed quality start every time he pitches recently. If the playoffs were tomorrow, I'd have him as the Twins #3 starter in an ALDS.
  19. Our best relievers as of late have been our rookies that started in AAA. That's how you know the front office failed the bullpen. What a pathetic group the Twins have in the FO. Morin, Parker, Mejia, Magil...all gone.
  20. Hicks: 2016 - 123 games played ( 2017 - 88 games played 2018 - 137 games played 2019 - 52 games played 400 games: 60 homers, 194 RBI, 2017 and 2018 he had seasons with above .800 OPS Buxton: 2016 - 92 games played 2017 - 140 games played 2018 - 28 games played 2019 - 75 games played 335 games: 35 homers, 135 RBI, Never had a season with above .800 OPS. Best was .728 in 2017. Not only has Hicks been historically more reliable, but he's been arguably more productive. In my opinion Buxton needs to step it up and become more reliable and more consistently productive or else it seems like the Yankees win the CF battle.
