Jeffers hits the ball very very far

What a night for Maeda. Outduelling the likely Cy Young winner is impressive

    What an outing for Pineda!

Big Mike looks good this year! Hopefully he can stay healthy

    Eddie..... what was that!?!?

I am sick of watching the Tigers this year! Of course, playing the same team 8 times in under 2 weeks doesn't help, but seriously! All I see is sneaky good defense, young pitchers with potential, hit parades, and some great base stealers. It reminds me of those pesky piranhas of Gardenhire's tenure as Twins manager, and I am shocked that this style of baseball can still win in today's game. Twins SP: Michael Pineda 1B Lamonte Wade Jr. 3B Josh Donaldson DH Brent Rooker LF Eddie Rosario 2B Marwin Gonzalez CF Byron Buxton RF Jake Cave SS Ehire Adrianza C Ryan Jeffers Tigers SP: Michael Fulmer CF Victor Reyes 2B Jonathan Schoop DH Miguel Cabrera 1B Jeimer Candelario SS Willi Castro LF Christin Stewart RF Jorge Bonifacio C Austin Romine 3B Isaac Paredes Michael Fulmer has had a strange career, to say the least. An incredible start, highlighted by an All-Star appearance and a Rookie of the Year award, followed by mediocrity and injuries. If Fulmer can come back to his peak and pitch alongside Mize, Turnbull, and Skubal for a few years..... I liked having 3 mediocre teams in our division, not just one. Let's play ball!

This is where Eddies mishap comes into play.... that wasn't a bad pitch by May btw

Eddie is REALLY lucky Rooker scores this inning. If I were Rocco Buxton would come in for the rest of the game

I think Hill would be a great combo with Dobnak come playoff time

Ok why were the Tigers not playing infield in? That seemed obvious

BUXTON! Huge steal by Rosie to negate the force at 2nd

I wonder if Donaldson is taking any catcher reps (only half joking)

Getting concerned about Arraez. Is Blankenhorn next man up??

    Be a hero Astudillo
  20. Diesel
Jorge! Sano and Cruz, better be ready to be heroes!

That's why I would rather have Rosario in right

    la tortuga time I guess

According to baseball reference, Brent Rooker has never played RF in his professional baseball career. Considering that Rooker is already considered a poor fielder, this might be interesting. I would have plugged Eddie into right and let Buck help Rooker in left

Elite opener Matt Wisler gets the bump
  25. Diesel
Rocco took him out after 5, which I am OK with. Tigers obviously know how to attack hin, and gotta win at least 1 today. Good win!
