I understand your ploy in this article.  The baseball season has many ups and downs. Players have ups and downs in a season. I know at this point in the season there are 4 teams in the alc and 7 more teams in A.L. that wish they had the Twins record. Yes, next week looks tough but not every week of the season is full of Yanks &Rays and those games are at Target Field. Twins will have 1 trip or 4 games in Yankee Stadium and the Rays, Toronto, Boston &Baltimore at Target. That’s encouraging. There are some tough games in the rest of season such as Houston 4 a, Dodgers 2 a,, Padres 4 h-a, SF 4 h-a, Brewers 4 h-a, Angels 7 h-a, that leaves D-Backs, Denver, Seattle, Rangers the ALC.  

The Twins are getting there top 3 starting pitchers & top relief pitcher back from IL and that is encouraging plus Correa & Celestonia coming back. I feel Canterino is ready to be called up to help the bullpen. 
There appears to be about 5 serviceable & rental starting pitchers on or coming to the market between now & the trade deadline but at what price? Are the Twins willing to meet the price? Are the Twins willing to part with some of the following Cano~, Sands, Steer, Martin, Kirilloff, Larnach, Arraez, Garlick, Kepler, Gordon, Urshela, Jeffers, or other prospects and players
