  1. What are they using? I mean technology?
  2. Even though the plate is 14 inches the ball only has to graze the line so it is more like 17-18 inches?
  3. Those weren't the best deals.
  4. I wonder if Billy Hamilton will ever be able to get on base 30% of the time?
  5. You are assuming he doesnt have a sophmore slump.
  6. What is the story on Homer Bailey today? I've followed the box score.
  7. Who was stupid enough?
  8. Win the series. Should have tied it with fastest runner on 2nd.
  9. Buxton should have been on 3rd somehow before that flyout. 2 game swing. Lefty against lefty.
  10. If Ryan could have walked 800 less batters in his career he could have passed Spahn for victories. The only concern is the extra velocity seems to increase arm injuries.
  11. How about an outsider who has followed Twins since 70's? 76-80 wins, but, in weak division shot at next year. If you could get 35-37 team wins from Berrios and Gibson and BP is good 86-88 wins and competing with Indians.
  12. Started thread too late since season has started?
  13. Instead of the record 80-82 what about games improved +-? You would think with a new manager that other changes were made as well as coaching changes.
  14. Instead of the record 80-82 what about games improved +-? You would think with a new manager that other changes were made as well as coaching changes.
  15. Once the number of runs scored declined in early 2010s and he never drove in many runs he seemed to be hanging on. A 1st ballot for sure.
  16. This is happening to a lot of teams signing mid-level relievers. BP has to be rebuilt every year and you need a certain amount of luck.
  17. OPS being all the rage..... his .757 turns some people off. Not me, but, he has been hanging on for 4 or so years.
  18. That means you could lose and still pitch a perfect game.
  19. Last Spring training game in Florida they decide to put a runner on 2nd in the 9th in a tie game to start inning. I hope they don't decide to ever implement this rule in the 9th or extra innings during regular season. You could pick runner off and have a 9 inning complete game with 26 outs. Would you lose a perfect game?
