    Had to work today. Missed the game, but I read through the game thread when I got home. Once the final out was recorded, I don't think I have ever in my 3+ years on this site seen such positivity and jubilation. There must be something to being 10 games over .500. I am happy for everyone! And I am happy For myself!

    It's not like it is illegal to call a guy up to the majors from double-A. Last year they did it with Vargas. Heck, didn't they call up Polanco from Ft. Meyers last year? I don't really care too much about AAA, unless it it is necessary. In his case it might not be and his development might be better served on Chattanooga's roster. It will all work out... no need to fret.

    It didn't amount to much, but Rosie really stung that ball. I hope he and Hicks are up to stay - this OF defense has been tremendously better with those 2 in the mix.

    I don't believe there is any doubt that the Twins really like Escobar. They have been very good at keeping his bat in the line-up and Santana's struggles to this point, do not seem like a mirage. It could be very likely Santana is not too far away from an airplane ticket to Rochester, NY.

    Sorry JB. I had to be away from the computer today. I watched most of the game though. Not much not to like. In honor of today's conquest and for you I will raise the Rally Roger!

    I agree with JB about the feel dynamic. It's quite different, these guys really believe as of now. They seem to be a cohesive group of players. They have fight, it seems like they want to blow **** up and they have each others backs. They are having fun and baseball is suppose to be fun. I think the managerial change and the addition of T-Hunt are a big part of it, along with the extra year the players from last year's roster have accrued. I would imagine that this team is gonna have a lull at some point and at this point it is hard to predict if the Twins go south or north. But I will say this - I really like this team and this is the beginning of something good. They might win 78 games or 86 games and both results are alright with me. We have promising additions on the horizon and what is going on now is really good. The teams are different, but I feel this team is like the 2001 Twins, pretty good, but not good enough. I believe they will hit the .500 mark and that is frickin' awesome considering where we were at - if we can accomplish this it is my Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake Delight. This elevator is going up and there is no down button on this contraption. I definitely expect the Twins to compete for a playoff spot in 2016. I pull back on 2015, but anything is possible!

    It's not about the strength of the teams. It's about the media market. Boston is big when it comes to baseball. Twins and Dozier do good = bigger headlines.
