Mary Steenburgen then sends me off with with a homemade batch of toffee cookies. That's my dream. I know the Twins are winning, but I don't trust it. I need to go to my fantasy land.

    I think baseball players that cheat will be dealt with appropriately. I don't have the time to waste on that anymore... I wish it were not true, but that is the case. I don't concern myself with the aforementioned baseball stuff, I greatly worry about the other things.

    Life is tough sometimes. You need to compartmentalize some things. Baseball to me is fun, and it is sad when heroes fall because they skirted the rules, if they thirst for money and riches it really has no baring on our society for the most part. But when politicians are making deals to please the special interests and big industries, and not working for the people of this country's overall good, it is the biggest scam that ever existed. We deserve better than this bull**** and I am not sure we can stop it. It's apples and oranges really.

    Not trying to start anything either. But one is an entertainment avenue, and the other is a way of life avenue for the citizens of the Country. Big difference, if you ask me.
