  1. How about a Pita Pit? Never eaten there, but a friend of mine said it was pretty good.
  2. You must be country folk... ...unless Urban Canada does not have Burger Kings.
  3. Sshhh... I don't want to relive the downfall of Bark's Lounge Season #1.
  4. Um.. thanks for the compliment?
  5. Traded them in (13 in total) for bean bags. I like bean bags now.
  6. I get it. Bark's Lounge's thread post = sucked.
  7. I was meditating and had a vision of some things that will transpire in tonight's game. Although this vision was somewhat hazy, the certainty I took from this vision was that two players of Japanese descent will lead their team to victory. This vision did not indicate if it was the Twins or Yankees who would win.
  8. Great players struggle sometimes, and in some seasons they can have statistical anomalies (Strikeouts). I understand that Joe had a career high in SO's last year and this year he is on pace to pass that total up substantially. I'm not too concerned - although he's struggling right now - that will end soon. I'd be bummed out if we didn't have him, and overall he's had himself a pretty nice season so far.
  9. One of these days it would be nice to see one of the invisible arrows Rodney shoots into the heavens come down and pierce his arm straight through. What the hell kind of world does he thinks he lives in - a world of Mechanical Owls and Pegasus? That is reserved for Harry Hamlin.
  10. Sometimes change is hard. You have my full support. Delmonatello - good night sweet prince.
  11. Communist pitching must be eradicated, but I think I would be cool with a dictatorship method of pitching.
  12. This game can be a pisser sometimes, but it is just a game. At least we have these game threads to wise crack and lay it out on the line. It can be a good distraction to more serious matters. I champion you Glunn, I am in your corner.
  13. Glunn, you should be spared from any updates about this game. I care about you and I don't want your health to be effected.
  14. I did that once, and the bull kept his cool, he seemed to be at ease.
  15. Sounds like a rip off of the last Indiana Jones movie.
  16. http://images.hitfix.com/photos/188666/charlesgibson_652_article_story_main.jpg Another one for good measure.
  17. Geez John. Your making me work too hard for my money this afternoon. I didn't plan on having to do any research to identify photographs. Hey at least I learned a few new things - and I thank you for that! Pass a Gibson over this way... and I mean Althea, not the adult beverage.
  18. http://img.karaoke-lyrics.net/img/artists/32454/debbie-gibson-245665.jpg You bet!
  19. When I am sitting in a chair and engaged - Yes. When I am lying on the floor in a fetal position - No.
  20. Alright! Hicks = 4 for 4. This evening that will be the jelly bean I found while digging through my nightly bag of dog excrement.
  21. Did I ever tell anyone that I am happy when I am sad? That is why I love the Twins.
  22. I'd be cool with it. I think us fans would warm to Santana quickly, no harm - no foul. It's not Santana's fault the Twins did not offer him a contract to his liking... thank goodness! If Santana makes his comeback as a Twin and is 15% of what he once was - he would probably be our best starting pitcher.
  23. LaBombo, In my time here on this site, I have appreciated your comments. Whether I disagree with them sometimes... who cares. I guess I would believe that everyone on this site has some kind of disagreement. I have no issue with Smerf. By no means was I pointing out Smerf as the antagonizer. Your post did nothing to change my mind, change my vision of what could be, or change whether Hicks will be a solid major leaguer or not. That was never for sale. I am not in the business of selling things. I like it when people come to their own conclusions. Sometimes you need to let it ride and come to conclusions about a players development a few years into it. I am not even sure you disagree with me - you know what I said in my previous post is true. Like I said before - LaBombo, you are a valued member of this site, and I personally like most of what you put out there. Hicks needs some time to prove his worth... and I feel pretty certain it will happen. When... Who knows?
