    It's a little bit different. Hrbek was 34 years old and chose beer over baseball. I would have done the same thing. In a way I did. I am 38 years old and I chose beer over working when I was 34 years old, but I was a janitor at a few White Castle locations. Damn it is nice to collect SSI for having a mental illness... at least that is what the government thinks.

    Why do you want to make me cry? The strike of 1994 ruined Mack's MLB career. In my opinion he was the 2nd best hitter on our team in 1991, although Chili can make a strong argument for that distinction.

    According to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee, WI Journal Sentinel, Ryan Braun has been suspended for the remainder of the season for his part in Biogenesis scandal. Mr. Braun will not appeal. MLB suspends Ryan Braun for remainder of season - JSOnline My take: Good. I do not see how he washes the egg off of his face on this one. Mr. Braun - No Hall of Fame for You! (if he would have even made it in the first place)
