  1. Who is this Krispy guy?
  2. Now Kepler? Correa, Gallo, Kepler, Buxton,,,,,,,,,,,,who's next? Maybe rocco.
  3. The word comfortability does not technically exist in the English lexicon. The word most closely resembling comfortability is comfort.
  4. Wonder if the Twins can pick up that Corbin guy from Arizona?
  5. American League All-Star starters 1B: Yandy Díaz, Tampa Bay Rays (over Vladimir Guerrero Jr.) 2B: Marcus Semien, Texas Rangers (over Whit Merrifield) SS: Corey Seager, Texas Rangers (over Bo Bichette) 3B: Josh Jung, Texas Rangers (over Matt Chapman) OF: Mike Trout, Los Angeles Angels; Randy Arozarena, Tampa Bay Rays; Aaron Judge, New York Yankees (over Yordan Alvarez, Adolis García, Kevin Kiermaier) C: Jonah Heim, Texas Rangers (over Adley Rutschman) DH: Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Angels National League All-Star starters 1B: Freddie Freeman, Los Angeles Dodgers (over Matt Olson) 2B: Luis Arráez, Miami Marlins (over Ozzie Albies) SS: Orlando Arcia, Atlanta Braves (over Francisco Lindor) 3B: Nolan Arenado, St. Louis Cardinals (over Austin Riley) OF: Ronald Acuña, Atlanta Braves; Mookie Betts, Los Angeles Dodgers; Corbin Carroll, Arizona Diamondbacks (over Michael Harris II, Lourdes Gurriel Jr.) C: Sean Murphy, Atlanta Braves (over Will Smith) DH: J.D. Martinez, Los Angeles Dodgers (over Bryce Harper) Judge, currently injured, will almost certainly have to be replaced by a reserve. When are the rest of the All-Star players announced? The All-Star pitchers and reserves for both rosters, totaling 23 total players from each league, will be decided by a player vote and selections from the commissioner's office. The full rosters will be announced at 5:30 p.m. ET Sunday, July 2, via another show on ESPN. MLB All-Star Game time, channel The 2023 MLB All-Star Game is scheduled to take place at 9 p.m. ET July 11 at T-Mobile Park in Seattle (Fox). The Home Run Derby will take place the preceding night at 8 p.m. ET July 10 (ESPN), and there is also the Futures Game, featuring the sport's top prospects, at 7 p.m. ET July 8 (Peacock).
  6. I can tolerate the vest, but those guys trying to reel in that toy fishing rod, makes us look like fools, and I thought we had that covered by just our play in the field and at bat.
  7. Yes, we need to run Krispy out of there, ASAP.
  8. Do you notice how much more enjoyable evenings are, when the Twins are winning and looking decent?
  9. 2 out of 3 so far. Let's wait and see if Buxton can contribute.
  10. Wow, that call was so bad, it made it look like a fix!
  11. Back to the strike out rut.
  12. Falvey probably told him to 'cool it, with comments' or risk losing his Chevron card.
  13. I'm watching the Mauer/Morneau piece on Balley TV. I've seen it many times before, but it still entertains me to listen to those 2 guys discuss hitting. Not just hitting, but successful hitting. It's not rocket science, but it definitely requires a lot of work mixed with some basic skills.
  14. I don't think Rocco is willing to admit that he's doing things poorly. Too many we(s) and not enough I (s) in his pressers.
  15. His rant has all the impact of a fly landing on a cotton ball.
  16. We'll see if Rocco's little speech and the player's meeting do any good. This could be just lip service. I wish they would respect our intelligence and just go out there and perform.
  17. I like your car driver analogy. I think of the Twins and most other MLB teams as race cars. Most cars are built to similar specs. The difference usually lies in the drivers. That's one of the reason race car teams have multiple drivers. some drivers are just more adept at handling the left turn, straightaway speeds and the drafting from other cars. MLB managers are the same. some are more adept at various aspects of managing a team and handling players. Sometimes, teams win despite the manager. I think Baldelli's major success in 2019 was just that. Multiple players had career years and things fell into place. As tough times have come upon us, he hasn't been able to correct the course. Maybe he will, maybe he won't. In today's competitive market for the sports dollar, teams don't have the same patience to accept mediocrity, except for maybe the Twins and a few others.
  18. This meeting should have been 2-3 weeks ago. Typical Rocco, no action til it's too late or we give up the divisional lead.
  19. Why was buxton shaking his head? "I can't believe I did that, or that guy is good".
  20. Twins fans are pretty forgiving and tolerate a lot of poor performances. But if Buxton thinks, he can still strut around the Twin Cities and be a fan favorite for the next nine years,, he should really think of renting some groupies.
  21. That's pretty harsh................But true!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Nothing is going to change until season attendance bottoms out. Correa is probably the last 'big name' free agent who would actually entertain the idea of coming to Minnesota. If this Bally TV scenario bellies up, the Twins won't be getting any grand deal for broadcast rights. (Who's gonna pay a premium to watch this?) So, in essence if the Pohlads want to increase revenue they may be forced to make some changes or sell the team.
  23. If it wasn't for 2019, 'the Anomaly Year", Rocco doesn't get his extension, IMO.
  24. I heard Rocco's already left for the airport.
  25. Wrong, he's carrying too high an average on the Twins front office bowling league team.
