  1. Colome time is too close and too soon to Colombine team. Should have never made that deal.
  2. Mr Dunning did a good job. Plus, the Twins helped him out. So, dunning stays in the Ranger's rotation for at least another month. Thank you Twins.
  3. Any of you ever see the movie, Cool Hand Luke? Twins remind me when Luke gets everyone to bust their butts, so they can sit back and relax. Only difference the road gang finishes tarring the road.
  4. This looks so familiar. We score early, then try and sit out a lead. Unfortunately our bullpen has no clue.
  5. reporter: so Rocco, what was your view of the play? Rocco: I didn't see it reporter: excuse me? Rocco: I didn't see it, I was checking the junk drawer in the dugout, looking for a battery for my laptop. report: catch you at the post game
  6. Kirfiloff sent his dad his first homerun ball. He also sent his jock to his mom. He had to call her and tell her he just wanted her to wash it. He's buying her a Honda Civic!
  7. Maeda look likes he's walking a tightrope. The rope has some slack, and it's starting to bounce a little bit. If he's not careful he's going to land on his head.
  8. Kiriloff is starting to really contribute. Gotta be having the time of his life.
  9. We've got solid pitching back up and depth. Happ.......No., Stashak...........No, Colome.........No, Shoemaker..........no, well, ok, just forget it, then.
  10. one more note on "The Lone Ranger". Clayton Moore played the Lone Ranger on tv. For a time he lived in the Twin Cities. One day my brother was sent to his home to clean his drapes. Moore was moving to the West Coast. Moore was cleaning out odds and ends from his home. He asked my brother if he wanted an old suit case. It was oversized leather suitcase, monogrammed CM. My brother got a kick out of that and kept it for many years. It was a suitcase he kept his Lone ranger costume, boots, and gun/holster.
  11. Rocco must have told the offense, that he was thinking of bringing in Colome.
  12. This Twins team cannot string together any consistent play. The score early, then close up shop. The pitching and defense is about average, until about the 6th, then it implodes. It's like waiting to see how we lose, rather waiting see how we win.
  13. Now there's something you don't often see, except this year.
  14. Sorry for the 'holy tits' comment, but it is Sunday.
  15. Holy tits,,,,,,,,,,,,2nd deck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. First time I'm having a look at the Royals. Didn't see them in any ST games. What I have noticed is the top half of their posted batting order, 1. W. Merrifield (R ) 2B 2. Carlos Santana ( S ) 1B 3. Salvador Perez (R ) C 4. Jorge Soler (R ) RF That's a pretty nice top 4. If 1 or 2 guys lower in the order can hit decently, KC should be able to put some runs on the board.
  17. Why is LaTroy Hawkins calling Jim Thome, "Thome"? It sounds so impersonal. Hawkins is terrible in the booth.
  18. Twins gotta keep the scoring going. Too often they have a decent offensive inning, then go into a cocoon. Can't let Cleveland back in to the game.
  19. Garver is a moper. He looks like he's going to cry when he walks back to the dugout. He needs Colome to kick him in the butt, or vice versa.
