I wonder what the resistance is to bringing up guys like Baxendale and Hildenberger? They have had success in the minors. Why not give them a chance?

When I first saw the headline and his picture on traderumors, I thought, ok, he's going to replace one of the bullpen arms... but starting? No thanks, Mr. Wilk. My buddy was at the Mets game when he pitched and said he was terrible -- not locating spots, leaving pitches in hittable zones, too many balls. Granted, there were less than ideal situations leading to his start, but ahead of Berrios? These pickups and call-ups don't seem like the actions of a rebuilding baseball club. -
#FreeBurdi Dude has been lights out this year so far. Same with Curtiss and Melotakis.
