I wanted the Twins to pursue a more legitimate bat to face lefties but it's pretty hard to complain about what Luplow has done. He fills a very specific and necessary role on this roster, one that Kyle Garlick could have and should have filled awhile ago but that's water under the bridge. -

His agent, Boras, has mentioned that he prefers to see Lewis in the infield. I'm sure that is coming from Royce himself, Boras isn't going to walk out on a limb like that for no reason. "For team reasons they asked him to play a position he hadn’t played since high school. What happens? He’s out there for 10 minutes and he gets hurt,” Boras said. “He didn’t get hurt on the dirt.
