Somewhere in Nebraska, a kid has been mashing the "X" button on his Playstation for three straight days, a new personal record. Little does he know, he's CONTROLLING REAL LIFE.
Sure, they started the season with a deficit but they're literally the only team that has played so few games against teams over .500 and one of the only decent teams with a record that bad.
He pitched on Saturday, I think, so he's going on somewhat short rest. Also, he's Devon Smeltzer. You don't want to just toss every egg you have in that basket unless absolutely necessary.
It does. After the Royals: Astros Angels Rangers @Minnesota Boston @Yankees That takes them through the middle of August. Good luck with that, kids. Three weeks without a facing a single team under .500 as of today.
I disagree. The Twins were on more of a skid after that Oakland game. They had lost five of six and were facing a very good and very hot Oakland team. They could have easily laid down and died, yet they rebounded and won the next game. Your defeatism is not reality.
Nah, those pitches Odorizzi threw that were drilled earlier were dead red over the plate. Crap pitches, frankly. That last homer was a legit good hit on a pitch that was hard to turn on (inside pitch quite high in the zone).
