Bench players do contribute and that is great but that doesn't necessarily they should be in the lineup every day.  And you said his defense was below average and he did not hit anywhere near enough to offset that.

He was a super utility guy, you seriously want Kreidler in the lineup everyday.  The production between the two is not even comparable.

Kreidler by definition is more of a super utility than Marwin Gonzalez because he can play premium positions. Gonzalez also wasn’t good for us at the time.
