Good test !!!!! Much had been made about the quality of AAA pitching.. it's a good barometer, agree.

'Brooks Lee's Dad' can be the answer to any of Audra's questions on a winning night and even Shelty will chuckle. Nobody calls him Shelty anymore since we started sucking again.

I do too, mainly because of their pitching coach. He's from my home town, I used to umpire when he was in Little League and Babe Ruth league (13-15) and he married a friend of my sister. (ignore the Oklahoma in my profile; that's just where the military dropped me off after 20+ years.)

Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted June 6 Posted June 6 We better hope the delay screwed up Wacha because Zebby ain't got it
Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted June 6 Posted June 6 This inning in St Paul has been a test of Royce's defensive chops at 1st. Tested with a bunt single to him that he fielded properly, but Funderburk didn't get over to 1st to cover the bag. Next play was a hot smash to him. He fielded it, fed it to 2nd for the double play. Culpepper bounced the relay throw back to Lewis and he couldn't corral it allowing the run to score. Some tough plays and there is some more footwork to do. Patzky 1
