This is a team that now needs to find out what they have in certain players. One of them is Julien, the only position that should be open to him is 1B. I am down on Julien but he at least has done something in the past. They played Gasper 3 games in a row this weekend, what has he done to warrant that playing time. Fitzgerald is not part of the future, play him a few games but you really need to find out what you have in the young guys. The Twins need to win, if they player is uncertain, send him to AAA and play some one who is not a rookie liability , - Lee Fitzgerald should stay at SS, and keep Lee FAR away from SS. yeahyabetcha 1

You are going anoint a 31 year old career minor leaguer with 7 ML AB's as your starting SS. They have no reasonable path to getting to the playoffs much less any noise if they pulled off the miracle. So you need to find out what you have and don't have so you can fill the holes in the offseason. Yes Lee has had his moments where he has not looked good. He has barely 600 AB's and never played the same position for any length of time. Give him regular playing time at the same position and see what he does. Sutter50, Doc Lenz, USAFChief and 1 other 4

He was actually going to play in Mexico this year until the Twins offered the minor league deal. So not I am not going to give him a starting job, his history suggests otherwise. Lee was a top draft pick and still only 24, Give him run this year and see what you have, that is the proper management of the roster with the players available. Sutter50 1
