Dylan Cease to the Padres, Michael Kopech to the 'pen

Seems like the White Sox have made some big decisions for 2024 by announcing Michael Kopech is moving back to the bullpen almost immediately after trading Dylan Cease to the Padres. Seems like the White Sox have raised the white flag for 2024, but I was kind of hoping they'd slog through the season while simultaneously wasting their limited player trade value. Seems like the White Sox took a package with multiple later top 100s prospects and a fast riser in Zavala.
