Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Ghost town in here. You'd almost think there was some major event going on this evening.

IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Ghost town in here. You'd almost think there was some major event going on this evening. Probably my church's rummage sale.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Probably my church's rummage sale. Knud is that you? IdahoPilgrim?
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Yeah, I wanted something that reflected my changed life. Idaho because that's where I live. Pilgrim because I am on a journey, seeking to proclaim the Minnesota Twins out here in the "wilderness" and seeking the promised land (World Series glory for our Twins).
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I get to stay and watch the first hour of the draft. Then I got to go coach some Babe Ruth Baseball. I'm gonna miss the Game Thread tonight... So I think we should probably consider shutting the game thread down until Tomorrow.

I'm gonna have to give it some thought and decide if I'm gonna address you as "Idaho" or "Pilgrim". Probably Idaho cuz I like Potatoes.

That was my favorite time as a player back in Bemidji (the high school coaches sucked FOR YEARS with immense talent in front of them).

That was my favorite time as a player back in Bemidji (the high school coaches sucked FOR YEARS with immense talent in front of them). In my opinion... Bemidji has been very impressive. They got some some tough demanding coaches and the fundamentals and attitude are being stressed. At least the teams that I have faced.

I didn't know you could change the screen name. I may give up swapping avatars, and go with name swaps instead. If RB is absent tonight, maybe I will stand in for him.

Doubled off the fence and doubled down the line. At least I think I did... It was a long time ago.

You could try -- A bunch of "If RB was here he'd say" Posts. I could come and back and read them and see how close you came.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Looks like Clete has a reason to wear his cleats tonight.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 TD must have crashed... Right when the Twins were drafting. Timing is everything.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 He's already committed to a double-header in New Britain and Rochester, and they don't want to tax his arm. Followed by "stiffness," "rest and rehab," "exploratory surgery" 3 months later, and "TJS" the following fall.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Twins offense clicking on all cylinders so far tonight.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Well. I feel better. Bert likes what he's seeing from Pelfrey tonight.
