Video: Sonny Gray Adds To Resume; Emmanuel Rodriguez Homers Twice

The Minnesota Twins shutout the White Sox Sunday to take the series 3-1 and lower their magic number to six. Sonny Gray was phenomenal once again and Edouard Julien hit a three-run homer. Wichita needed to win and get some help in order to qualify for the playoffs on the final day of their regular season. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be. Highlights from that game plus a quick overview of my Wind Surge hitter (Joyner Fajardo) and pitcher (Pierson Ohl) of the year. Game 1 of the Midwest League Championship saw Cedar Rapids power its way from behind to a convincing win. Emmanuel Rodriguez hit a pair of homers while Carson McCusker slugged the go-ahead three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning.
