The Minnesota Twins were swept by the Braves, falling 3-0 Wednesday afternoon. Rocco Baldelli was uncharacteristically irked in the postgame interview. Over in the minors, Jose Miranda continued his good streak of hitting for the Saints and Jair Camargo was the hero in St. Paul, driving in six runs including a walk-off grand slam. Brooks Lee and Yunior Severino homered for Wichita in support of David Festa, who will be representing the Twins in the Futures Game.
