TKGuy Provisional Member Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Herman was a 6th round pick of the Twins in 2008 out of West Delaware High School in Manchester, Iowa. In 2012, Hermsen pitched mostly at AA New Britain and compiled a 12-6 record with a 2.88 ERA. This year, Hermsen competed in Spring Training with the Twins and then was reassigned back to New Britain. This year has been somewhat of a struggle. Hermsen started for Rock Cats this afternoon against Matt LeCroy's Harrisburg squad and was tagged with the loss. Hermsen pitched 5 1/3 innings and gave up 5 runs (2 earned) on 7 hits while walking 2 and striking out 4. Hermsen's 2013 record dropped to 0-2 wih a 4.91 ERA.
