IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 If the Tigers can score seven runs in an inning, why can't we?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Author Posted August 22, 2020 Don"t look now, but 2 runners in the scoring position...
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Don"t look now, but 2 runners in the scoring position...They have us right where they want us...
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 If the Tigers can score seven runs in an inning, why can't we? Though it's bad form to quote/answer yourself, I'll take a shot. Because we swing at pitches six inches off the ground and around our neck?
70charger Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Glad Odo seems to be okay. I'm way less optimistic about Littell. I'm guessing it's a "forearm strain" at least.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 I'm much more in favor of Sweet Baby Ray's on the ad board, by the way. Had some smoked pork belly and pulled pork for supper, with some leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow.
70charger Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Why are they using Trevor May in this game? Has he not had much work lately?
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Why are they using Trevor May in this game? Has he not had much work lately? Not since Monday.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 0 for 7 RISP today... Clearly this isn’t the lineup they envisioned but we haven’t had anyone “Hot” in quite a while. Seems like we haven’t done a whole lot since the first weekend of the season
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Well, only an 8 pitch outing, so May should be usable tomorrow.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Twins will be 45% of the royals wins this season...if the score holds
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Author Posted August 22, 2020 Wade pinch hit. Glad he got in the game. Alas just a k.

Channing1964 Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 I'd welcome him back, but with Berrios, Maeda, Dobnak, and Pineda all under contract 2021, I'll be a bit surprised if they want to offer him a multiyear contract. I'm guessing that's what he's looking for. True that but i could see him staying for like 2 years and 25 mil. he's gotta be at least 30 already isnt he? He didnt seem like he's money hungry to me and he has to know that 17.8 mil for one year was an ultra sweet deal. The Twins didnt Have to do that....when you look at what Gibson got from the Rangers...man Odorizzi should kiss Falveys a$$.I don't know what is going on with Bailey, and Odorizzi not staying in shape but this year is gonna really show us who is taking their spot seriously. Personally so far, Odo can go go. If Pineda comes back in shape(and he BETTER) somebody is going to become dead weight really fast. Its not his fault what happened tonight but how you gonna start out with a sore back? Everybody knew they better stay in shape. Its not like they got called up out if the blue and told report to Target Field we're playing in three weeks. jeeze some of these injuries are freakin maddening
