Mejia & Pineda named GCL All Stars

OF Jeremias Pineda came to the Twins organization in early August from the Red Sox in the Danny Valencia trade. In all, he hit .365/.406/.469 with 9 doubles, 4 triples, a homer and 25 RBI. He also stole 23 bases.

 

SS Aderlin Mejia played sparingly with the Twins GCL team a year ago as well. This year, he stepped up. He hit .324/.370/.418 with 13 doubles and a home run.
