diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Today history will be made, a few mods will make the grueling trek to Sarasota to watch the Twins try and secure a second tie in a row against the same opponent. The stakes are high. Things to think about. 1. Speaking of history, a number of important historical events occurred. In 1911, the triangle shirtwaiste fire occurred, killing 145 NYC residents. In 1774, the Boston Port Act was signed in reaction to a rather large tea party in the Boston area. And in 1982, Danica Patrick was born. 2. Demotions. I think we've all had the occasional work experience that didn't go well. Perhaps it wasn't a demotion, but just an improvement plan. Chargois will be headed to AAA on a performance improvement plan. Here's to hoping he makes the best of it. 3. Orioles fans. Ok, they aren't that bad. I could be watching baseball in the spring with WhiteSox fans, Yankees fans, or Packers fans. 4. Hector Santiago... Not the guy I wanted to see pitch today. I'd have rather seen Hughes... or Mejia... or well anyone. 5. Standing room only. Yeah, spring training baseball and standing room only to watch the Os battle the Twins. Lineups: TBD.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2017 Author Posted March 25, 2017 Ok. First topic for the night. The twins are required to send three "major leaguers" for an away game. Guess the three.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 6-1 in the top of the 9th. 2 outs. We got this. 5 runs is nothin'!For those keeping track at home, we only got 2. But still that's better than it might of been. There are signs of life. Maybe today we might catch a break or 2 what alluded us yesterday. Who knows, our moderators could even get seats. Who playing again?
