After sitting out 2013 & 2015 entirely and playing a mere 57 games combined between AAA/Majors in 2014, apparently Chone Figgins was the only one who didn't know he was retired.  He needed a press release to confirm it to the world.

 

Figgins is gone,      ...when will come another?!
