USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 OK, Mr Santana, we're tied up. You got this.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I was actually shocked the Twins got Rosario in with Nunez, Escobar and Suzuki coming up.
Jerr Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I love triples. I love triples. My favorite hit, as it is so exciting to watch the runner and the throw!!!!
70charger Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I was actually shocked the Twins got Rosario in with Nunez, Escobar and Suzuki coming up. Weak contact was kind of made for that kind of situation. Clearly Molitor was planning to have Rosario hit a triple or two, and that's why he backed him up with the other Eddies and Suzuki. #strategy
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Polanco not playing? what is the point of having him up, exactly, if he's not playing? Sano at DH still? Better be his ankle, and not that they don't trust him there......
Jerr Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Sano needs to play somewhere on the field...not just DH-ing!!!!
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Jesus Christ Dozier, you had all the time in the world there.
70charger Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 It's gotta be his ankle here right? I mean, Plouffe being out is literally the perfect reason to see what he can do at 3B in the majors. I don't go in for hardly any of the conspiracy theories around here, so I'm going to assume it's his ankle unless there's evidence otherwise.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 C'mon. Act like you give a crap.
70charger Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Dozier had too much time to make that little flip. In my completely unscientific, observational opinion, he does that too much. Better to set your feet.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Good job battling out of that by Santana, that is the biggest difference between him and Liriano, if Liriano makes that error, you are looking at a 12 run inning.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Honestly, the jack links jerky commercials are the most unfunny, unimaginative series ever. And they just keep running with it.
70charger Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I'm watching on MLB.tv, and they're doing the same Elvis impersonator - State Farm commercial literally every inning. I'd love to have a Jack Links commercial thrown in the mix.
70charger Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Not to mention there's a few minutes' lag, so sometimes the suspense goes away. #behindthetimes#thesedontworkontwinsdaily

I'd love to have a Jack Links commercial thrown in the mix. That's the thing I didn't like about MLB.tv, same commercial every time.
70charger Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 That's about as close as it could possibly be.
70charger Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 That's the thing I didn't like about MLB.tv, same commercial every time. True, it's a tradeoff. At this point I don't have a choice, but at least since I'm not in Minnesota, they don't black out the game.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I thought that was gone, bring him in Hicks!
70charger Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 This Hicks kid is looking pretty good...
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 True, it's a tradeoff. At this point I don't have a choice, but at least since I'm not in Minnesota, they don't black out the game.Switch games during the commericals!
70charger Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Honestly, the jack links jerky commercials are the most unfunny, unimaginative series ever. And they just keep running with it. I don't know if you're actually interested in this, but I have some inside knowledge, so why not share? Jack Links has been with their (Minneapolis-based) ad agency now for something like a decade. They're a small-town company and their mindset isn't particularly edgy or creative. Certain people in their ad agency have expressed a desire to move away from Sasquatch, but they like it, and they don't see any reason to change.
Tibs Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Nice hit. I have no idea what the 1st base coach was saying to him though
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Hicks is pretty fast. That was a shallow single to RF that he scored on.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Pretty sure they are aware of that. I think the implication is either Polanco either sticks this time or will be traded. This is all hypothetical of course, but very little here isn't.au contrair. everything I type is thetical. Very thetical.
