drjim Provisional Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Another day, another mock, another guy the Twins are on. http://www.baseballamerica.com/draft/mlb-mock-draft-2015-version-4-0/ 6. TwinsMinnesota continues to give the college arms (such as UCLA’s James Karpielian) a look but industry sources still tie the organization to prep outfielders. They’re working out Kyle Tucker this week as it looks increasingly likely that Cameron, their chosen target, will be unavailable. Selection: Kyle Tucker, of, Plant HS, Tampa
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I think I could get behind Tucker although would prefer Cameron I think. Seems to have the better glove and had a marginally less impressive year at the plate (statistically - yeah I know they're meaningless in HS). Tucker: .484, 10 HRs, 64 ABsCameron: .455, 8 HRs, 17 SBs, 25 games
drjim Provisional Member Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 I'm more or less OK with most of the names that have been mentioned - Allard, Tate, Tucker, Cameron, Bregman. All have strengths and weaknesses, but should be a decent addition to the system.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Shocked to see them passing on Tate. I'll have my own mock up soon.
