Wetmore: Buxton has right mix of patience and anxiousness

1500 ESPNs Derek Wetmore wrote about Byron Buxton. Obviously he wants to get to the big leagues as fast as he can, but he's smart enough to know that he wants to be ready and healthy when he does get there. Buxton was a guest yesterday on the Mackey & Judd show on 1500 espn.

Buxton seems to be very level-headed and wise beyond his years. Great to see. I think the audio is available here, which I am now going to listen to before getting back to work.

Highly recommend the audio. One funny (in retrospect) thing is that Buxton says the first thing he thought when he woke up after the collision was how he had just struck out three times.

yeah, that probably wouldn't have been my first thought, especially when unable to move.
