Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 It's been a struggle for Luke Bard to get on the mound since signing with the Twins in 2012. The 23-year-old right-handed pitcher is at his second big league camp, hoping he can get and remain healthy throughout the season. I had the chance to catch up with him following a workout and before he went to eat some lunch. In this two-part interview, I talked to him about how he's feeling and how spring is treating him. I also asked whether or not the surgery would affect his opportunity to start, or if he would be in the bullpen As you can tell, he is excited to get throwing off the mound and hopefully start moving up the organizational ladder. Bard is another Twins prospect who is a tremendous person. He has worked very hard and wants to be very good. When healthy, he has the chance to be very good. Reports are his pitches have a lot of movement and bite on them. Hopefully he can get into games in April. Once healthy, he has the chance to move pretty quickly. Click here to view the article
