It annoys me that Gardy leaves Correia in for more pitches when he's getting lit up than in his first outing in Chicago when he was sailing along after a rough couple innings.

Yeah. As I understand it the intent of the rule is to prevent the pitcher from faking out batters and baserunners. Hard to see how a microtremor like that could have anybody jumping out of their shoes, but it was technically illegal. Sigh.
