    I'm not sure anyone really saw Jorge has a double digit HR guy. I know I did not. 34 career minor league HRs in 2500 PA.

    In an ironic twist, arguably Brad Radke's best statistical season was 2004. He ranked 3rd in the AL for bWAR among pitchers and 3rd in ERA+. Of course, he ranked 2nd on his team.

    One thing that could give players with postseason experience an edge is the longer road. It's mid September. This is only the second season Sanchez or Judge have even played this deep into September. Now, they may have 30-50 games left. Nearly all of which are crucial. It's a physical and mental drain that one needs to prepare for.

    I guess when I am labeling a pitcher with a number, it IS based on his performance. A ranking relative to his team, and even relative to the league. That is, just because Brad Radke was the Twins number one for much of his career, doesn'g mean he was one of the 30 best in MLB.

    Who's punishing them? Simply pointing out that they are not postseason tested. At all. Whereas the two teams they likely would face beyond the Wild Card Game (Houston and/or Cleveland) do have some recent playoff experience.
