    I have never been a proponent of electronic strike zones, I just don’t think baseball should be turned into a big video game. But a hitter shouldn’t have to guess what an inconsistent umpire is going to call a strike or a ball. If the umpires are going to continue to be this bad, then let’s have electronic strike zones, open up every play to review and fire half the umps, if they want to strike over it… fire them all

    I have to admit I am totally mystified by Smeltzers success. He reminds me of Jamie Moyer late in his career.

    The Twins have about 11 blown saves, by far the biggest issue, defense may have contributed to a few, but Pagan and Duffey have 7 blown saves between the two of them. Fix the bullpen and the Twins are not perfect, but they are still in first place and they win this series

    What play? Have you seen Miranda play first? If that’s how Rocco manages this team he should be fired immediately.

    Huge day for Cleveland, today they start separating from the rest of the division. The Twins won’t get first place back. I predict by the end of next week the Twins are 5 games back. Does anybody really think Smeltzer is a major league pitcher… only on the Twins
