    I know longer believe in the validity of the rumor as stated. If they rumor trade was true in any way the deal would be complete as we both agreed on that point. It would be wise for Twins to hold out because today is Dec 15th.

    No Urias. The Dodgers are not going to trade a Mexican star pitcher for Dozier. It will never happen. You guys have to come to Socal and understand why, I guess.

    This has to be the hold up. Twins wisely want one of Bellinger/Alvarez and LA won't do it. This deal isn't getting done before season and was never close to finalized. Maybe at trade deadline when some of the other Dodger minor RHP's show more growth. Dodgers have a ton of RHP prospects in the lower levels as well.

    I agree that Twins deserve better I don't think this trade will happen. LA won't create one hole to fill another and Twins deserve a fair return for Dozier. Might be a chance at the trade deadline. In fact I don't believe this trade was ever imminent. Dodgers were interested but not at that price. These things happen

    Dodger Fan here. You guys are a good group. Have been impressed and laughing for the last two days. Let me give you my best semi-educated guess on this rumor. Twins want De Leon and one of Bellinger/Alvarez The Dodgers are offering De Leon, Stewart/Calhoun etc. That is the reason for the delay. If the Dodgers were offering De Leon and one of Bellinger/Alvarez then the Twins would have said hell yeah and completed the deal quickly. I like Dozier and think we might be seeing a Murphy-like breakout but Dodgers like Solarte and Forsythe too. Dodgers have big plans for Bellinger as early as mid year if he continues to hit and are not trading him for 2 years of Dozier.. Not giving up Bellinger for Dozier. No way. I think it would be doubtful they include Alvarez either. He might be special and you don't just throw him into a deal like this one. I'm not arguing that the Twins don't deserve to have nice things I'm just telling you the Dodgers are very high on Bellinger for this year and next. Plus they don't know entirely what they have with Alvarez but it might be sky high. Hope it helps
