"Reds “leaning toward” retaining backstop Stuart Turner, whom it took from the Twins in the Rule 5 draft, per Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer (Twitter link). Turner would join Tucker Barnhart to comprise the Reds’ top two catchers, and they’d try to pass the out-of-options Rob Brantly through waivers"

As my wife would tell me, "you are about one correction away from sleeping on the couch...or two corrections away from divorce.

Always a pleasure to post a comment and receive an educational correction lecture in return. If my point is so easily missed, that lecture should be on my communication skills rather than my failure to verify diddly.

The greater shame was that General Doubleday played baseball rather than researching anesthesia.

"It is hard to believe that it has been fifteen years since the most tragic day in American history". September 11, 2001 casualties were 3,000 dead and 6,000 injured. It has actually been 153 years since the Battle of Gettysburg where there were 51,000 casualties. Because of battlefield medical inefficiency, many of the 5000 wounded died within weeks. Not ALL American history began when we were born.

Suzuki may be a FA, but if no one else wants him (see trade deadline interest= 0), the Twins may get him back for a pittance.

If Berrios can't pitch to anyone else but Murphy, then it's good to find that out now. Murphy's chances of catching 162 MLB games next season are ZERO!

Agree, agree and agree. Hildenberger is my choice for all awards, 2015 and 2016. We have no proof that he can't hit, so I am awarding him all the offensive awards also, lacking evidence to the contrary!

He is our 2016 Twins MVP. But for the efforts of St. Alex, Ricky Nolasco would have still five (?) more years remaining with the Twins. God Bless you young man! May you and your family prosper forever!

Is this a prospect ranking, or a "2016 Short Season Pitcher Of The Year" ranking? So his advanced age must be factored into an evaluation of his performance level? That logic extrapolated means that if a hypothetical 15-year-old were to get clobbered regularly, that he could be "2016 Short Season Pitcher Of The Year" because of the age factor, Maybe the unborn son of two great athletes could win that award because he is SO young and that outweighs the performance factor.

"•Brady Anderson, GCL Twins: 13 G, 9 GS, 5-0, 1.43 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, 56.2 IP, 43 H, 0 BB, 42 K." HONORABLE MENTION? Are you kidding me? 42K and ZERO BB? It is hard to beat a K/BB ratio of INFINITY!!!!

Twins lose, Braves win, Twins now leading for the #1 draft pick next June. How sweet it is!
