  1. so, he's your least favorite player and you hope the Twins sign him to an extension?
  2. Maybe just to get it out of your system, post the polar opposite of your thoughts! It is opposite day, afterall.
  3. Julien's hammy appears to be barking less today, so that's good to see him back in the lineup. The Twins have done absolutely nothing against Olson so far this season, let's hope that changes today!
  4. Thanks for the confidence, but at 42 I have not mastered it yet...
  5. Something we can all aspire to! Hopefully it doesn't take me 176 years too.
  6. Andrus? He's been around forever and had many productive years.
  7. If a lineup isn't half bad, then the other half isn't half good!
  8. And that's the gift that keeps on giving!
  9. Hurt the other one favoring it. So, it feels fine, but the other hurts now.
  10. That's not a half bad lineup. Hopefully it works!
  11. That luster wore off in a hurry.

I think we just have to accept that the Twins are a .500 team. If they get back a few players from IL they can be a better team. With good pitching anything can happen in a short playoff series.  If Lewis can come back and be a good player it will really help the Twins. The only bad news about the Twins being in the playoffs is that Rocco will be back for another year. I do not think the Twins will ever be a good team with Rocco as manager. He just doesn't appear to be a leader and seems to have no real feel for the game. He doesn't have his players move runners over so Twins hit into too many double plays.  At times he seems to have no clue on how to handle pitchers.

I've never thought this team was anything other than a .500 team.  They're almost exactly what I figured they'd be heading into the season.

  12. For me, it depends on where I decide to read it! At work? computer. On the couch? Tablet or phone.
  13. Not necessarily. There's always been good and bad managers. That said, today's game probably does require the FO and manager to be on the same page like never before. I don't think that's inherently bad, but it can obviously have a downside. You do bring up a good point.
  14. Not surprised in the least they lost the series in Detroit.  Wouldn't say I expected it though.  Disappointed nonetheless.  But, that's pretty much how this team in.  They are streaky.  And it's frustrating.

  15. Pretty pitiful offensive performance in this series.
  16. Not at all what I'm saying. I'm pretty indifferent to Rocco. I just don't think that's going to be an impact move without also improving the roster.
  17. Yeah, that's where I was going with that. I would agree with you there.
