  1. Yeah it does. When does he have time for Scotch?
  2. Instead of doing some chores with the game on?
  3. I'm but just a simple messenger! But I thought the same thing when I saw the tweet. Which explains why I'm still sitting in my recliner instead of making my way downtown.
  4. The number of beautiful MN days and nights spent indoors far outweighs the occasional rain out saved.
  5. Assuming the rain allows it, I'm interested to see how Keuchel fares today.
  6. Same. It does bring me back to how fun that game was to be at though. The only reason I went was because I believed it was going to be his last.
  7. I'd be remiss if I didn't congratulate Joe Mauer on his Twins HoF induction today! I always enjoyed watching him play. Congratulations, Joe!
  8. Sure. Another is just so that the Twins don't sign him. Both defeat the purpose of a fire sale though.
  9. Cleveland would also be really odd. They were just sellers at the deadline. Why would they sign a guy like Keuchel?
  10. Not complaining about that part, for sure. I'd just prefer a cleaner game, on both teams part. Sloppy and weird baseball isn't as entertaining as good baseball.
  11. Mainly because of the long term outlook on the position players. Even the depth in the pitching doesn't excite me too much. I think there needs to be more development from the young core. I'm also not suggesting that they're headed towards rebuild territory. I think other teams will pass them by though. Which is a big part in this conversation, in my opinion. It's not just about this team.
  12. I think there's a of truth in this. I also think Cleveland's window is probably opening back up, whereas it's closing here. That's a big difference in my mind, but there are merits to your post that are hard to disagree with.
