I for one have no idea what is meant by “anybody can get this work.” No idea.

I don’t necessarily empathize blindly with Jimmy, but the FO was warned. It shouldn’t have come this far. I have always thought Jimmy is a decent guy. Still do. Can you all imagine yourselves coping with this level of ineptitude?

    Are you not entertained?

Per the NYT, Wolves could have gotten Richardson and a first, but preferred to not not trade Dieng. So, what does Thibs want? The answer: to be fired. And I’m growing even more convinced that’s all there is to this. He will never ever ever ever ever get another head coaching job in this league. He knows it. Just gunning for that severance package now.

Crickets on the jimmy front the last couple of days. Is thibs...is he winning this stare down?

I don’t feel like unloading Gorgui’s contract should be a priority for the wolves. Am I alone on that?

So, you’re going with the ol’ ‘addition by subtraction’ way of thinking, then eh? Best of luck.

If the Wolves don’t trade Butler before the season starts, they’re going in short handed. We already know how hard a time they have winning without Jimmy. If they intend to play a portion of the season with a gaping hole in their roster, the West will have its way with them. This is self-sabotage.

Woj says they are closest with the Heat. I mean, I can see Thibs wanting Dragic more than yet another young guy...still, though, I dunno.

I feel that if you can put the 2015/2016/2017 ROYs on the floor together, you’re at least close to being back where you started from before the Jimmy trade. I’d go for that one, personally.

Bledsoe/Brogdon, sending Jimmy to the East? What are they waiting for?
  12. Pardon My Dinger
I don’t like the look of that 11-9-22 line you guys both have. Have they been putting that out in the preseason?

The sunglasses smiley is not by design.

That said, if they can find a way to a) bring Dragic to MN, AND get rid of Teague, his hopes may be dashed. That would be a decent team.

Thibsy’s working very hard on this. Trying real hard to get fired.

I am currently salivating over a LBJ-Brow-Kuzma combo. Gonna be bad ass when all is said and done.

Wolves need 3s and d. And lots of it.

Saric doesn’t make a ton of sense. He’s a good young player, but the Wolves needed wings before this whole mess started. You can’t have KAT, Gorgui, Patton, Gibson, and Saric. I mean, Thibs would probably love an antiquated lineup such as that, but he’s trying real hard to get fired so, basically, nobody would want that.
  19. Pardon My Dinger
It should probably be the clips. Tobias Harris and Lou Williams would be an ok get. A clippers 2019 pick is probably going to be high value as well. Can’t imagine they’ll do better than that.

I don’t know what to think of the Kyrie-jimmy connection. I haven’t heard the same enthusiasm out of Kyrie, and I’m pretty sure he’s planning on winning a championship right now with the only team that even has a prayer against the warriors. That said, the dust won’t even begin to settle until next July.

    I think Barreiro’s gonna cry.
  22. Pardon My Dinger
None of these three teams will be willing, or even capable of sending MN a better haul than LaVine/Markkanen. Hope we all had fun last year. Not a bad day to be a Lakers fan. Not bad at all.

Sharp Objects and The Sinner. Both very good shows. I do not recommend trying to watch them at the same time. They are pretty much the same thing.
  24. Pardon My Dinger
They are going down, my friend.
  25. Pardon My Dinger
**** it. Go Lakers. Why not?
