Still better -
and I’d run through a wall to see this lineup again
-
By the way, that was the series of the knoblaunch incident
-
I do remember when they took 2 of 3 from them at the dome in 2001. For real. I was in 8th grade and the only time I ever got to watch the twins was when they played the Yankees. Remember it like it was yesterday
-
For the love of god can we have a clean inning
-
Lol that’s not a strike
-
Austudillo just having a fantastic night,
-
Misses a homer by a foot, and gets hurt in the process.

There’s literally nothing I hate worse in this world than losing to the Yankees. War, famine...all pale in comparison. Yet it just keeps happening.
-
Yankees announcers wondering why sano takes a 3-1 pitch down the middle. So are we
-
Not sure about that. Check jeffers’ reaction too
-
But the turtle loves playing the game and that’s all that matters!
-
WHY WOULD YOU CUT THAT OFF
-
Hahahaha death, taxes, and choking against the Yankees.

The win it irrelevant. It was a dumb move and Robles got lucky again -

Continually putting Robles in to close games is a fireable offense. He stinks in this role -

Guys, I don’t think we’re making the playoffs -
This is the closest I could find, but it only goes from ‘02-‘12. Funny, the 2011 twins make the list https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1635958-mlbs-10-most-disappointing-teams-of-the-last-10-years
-
“They scored 13 we can score 13” just stop, Justin
-
Yep, and that 2015 team didn’t make the playoffs. This is monumentally worse.
-
I didn’t see too many WS picks, but that probably had more to do with the playoff losing streak than anything
-
Just to respond to myself, is there a list somewhere of biggest underachieving teams in mlb history? Hard to imagine an across the board playoff pick losing 100+ games
-
It’s time to start wondering where this team will rank on the list of all time underachievers. This was an across the board playoff pick. Maybe a few prognosticators had us pegged as a wild card entry. I can’t think of one publication of note that had us even missing the playoffs. And now this. An epic, total, complete failure
-
Holy mackerel. I’m thinking we might see 20+ tonight
