The fact that the twins should have been in rebuild mode and they went and threw all that money at a guy who was pedestrian last year and used us as an absolute last resort is felonious. And it’s turned out exactly as it should have. Never go with someone who makes you their third option. Lesson learned (hopefully)

Just popping in to say (as I did last year) that we should have been sellers last season and gone into full rebuild mode in the off-season. But we didn’t and we’ve got barely anything to show for it. No closer to seriously competing. Oh well. Carry on.

I usually don’t get this disinterested and turned off to the twins until about mid-late august

Sad part is they have two hitting coaches AND an assistant hitting coach.

In “late and close” situations, the twins are 24th in MLB, hitting .216

Stunningly, the twins are still 10th in MLB in BA with RISP. Must all be in blowouts.
