  1. I’m fairly certain I’m NOT on that list lmao
  2. No, Phillies fans much much worse. Trust me. When they’re good they’re no different than eagles fans
  3. Man the Phillies look like a world champ. Just dumping on the best team in baseball. Which sucks because their fans are insufferable
  4. Also I agree that kirko probably isn’t getting traded but if someone is willing to give us a high draft pick for him, why is it that crazy? The season is done. Over. Finished. And we have a Swiss cheese roster full of holes and a GM with a shaky track record of drafting
  5. Because mullens has been here, has starting experience and Mannion hasn’t been on a roster since zimmer’s last game. I guess maybe Hall could surprise people but what are the odds
  6. They might both stink but Mullens is better than mannion. Mannion has thrown 110 passes in his entire 8 year career and mullens has starting experience. Mannion makes kirk look like tarkenton with his lack of mobility, and our terrible offensive like would probably get him killed. Mullens has at least been here for the last two seasons. Had he not gotten hurt I would certainly have given him a better chance at giving a competent effort than mannion, who hasn’t even been on a roster since zimmer’s finale in Green Bay. Who knows about the rookie, I guess it’s fair to give him a shot in a lost season. All I’m saying is that if Kirk could possibly be traded (and it’s still a possibility now that the season is shot), you’d have to have someone who could at least give a competent effort and I don’t think mannion is that guy and I doubt a rookie who’s never taken a snap would be either
  7. Couldn’t tell you how mullens would do but that one game mannion started in GB was bad. I remember him having the mobility slightly better than a statue. Obviously the season is lost so it doesn’t really matter but you can’t make a farce out of it either
  8. Vikings have place backup QB Nick mullens on IR and have signed former backup QB Sean Mannion lmao this season is a nuclear meltdown of terribleness. And a huge blow to any hopes of trading Kirko
  9. Yesterdays HP umpire did an excellent job outside of the foul tip called a ball, which is nearly impossible to get right. Yesterday was the most consistent of the playoffs. Consistency is at least as important as accuracy
  10. I felt pretty good too until I realized that next year’s rotation could be lopez and a whole bunch of #5 starters. We see what it takes to win in the postseason and it’s tough even when you have two solid starters up front
  11. He did seem to play with fire at times but it was usually one blow up inning, not so much an entire outing of it. There seems to be a pretty sizable gap between him and Lopez
  12. Slight disagree. I believe Baltimore was not swept all season if I’m not mistaken? That’s the mark of a really good team IMO. And Texas petered down the stretch, thanks in large part to the twins beating them so much late. They were on the outside looking in really late into September. Unless atlanta wins their series, Houston will be the only bye team to move on (of course)
  13. I posted this on another thread but I was worried about Gray coming in. He wasn’t sharp against Toronto. Yes he gave us 5 scoreless, but he had only one 1-2-3 inning. And had at least 2 baserunners in 3 of his 5 innings. Toronto just failed to take advantage and it only took Houston one inning to take full advantage of Sonny
  14. To be honest, gray wasn’t all that sharp against Toronto either. Yes of course, he had 5 scoreless but only had one 1-2-3 inning and had at least 2 runners on in 3 of the 5 innings. Toronto just failed to take advantage.
  15. Ass sucker is much worse than being a sucka ass
  16. Rangers absolutely dumping on Baltimore. Didn’t see any of this coming.
  17. As soon as I saw Kirilloff and wallner hitting back to back I knew it was going to be a struggle. They haven’t hit anyone in the postseason. Right left or ambidextrous
  18. So many goats (and not the good kind) in this game, it’s hard to know where to begin. Gray didn’t have it even though he recovered a bit after the first inning. He was missing spots and getting away with bad pitches a lot. I’m surprised he was allowed to start the 5th with all the hoopla about “3rd time through the order” AK has made a first inning fielding gaffe in 3 of the 5 games he’s started. He ole’d the big first inning grounder. I feel bad for the guy with all the injuries he’s been through, but he’s been having a brutal postseason I think Royce’s two homers in game 1 last week were simultaneously the best and worst things to happen to him. He’s got to take better swings with guys on base. For contact not the big homer. You watch Houston’s guys…lots of HR threats but mostly they have their swings under control. The first inning seems to be vital for our success or failure. The missed opportunity in the first inning today seemed to bring all the pressure the rest of the game. You could feel it. Side note, if gray doesn’t re-sign here, oh boy will we need to sign or trade for a starter. Lopez and gray aren’t enough for a deep run.
  19. Joe needs to be like Nolan tomorrow or this one’s OVAH
