  1. Heck no, you’re entitled to an opinion like the rest of us! Not like there’s anything else to talk about with this blowout. I switched over to the three stooges anyway 😂
  2. MLB has had their share of abusers allowed back in to the game too, to be fair.
  3. I feel so bad for browns fans 😂 this is bad. I thought they’d win, too
  4. I mean he was a life saver for the browns, but you knew it would have been a miracle if it continued to work. I remember people asking why the browns allowed Dobbs to sign with the Vikings during his little run
  5. Another one! My god. Turned in to a pumpkin before our eyes
  6. That was a Nick Mullens “what in God’s name are you doing?” moment
  7. Clock just struck midnight on Flacco and probably the browns. Brutal pick 6.
  8. Poor browns. Being a Vikings fan, I’ve always pulled for the long suffering team in the playoffs as a form of good karma. Not that’s it ever worked for us. Although I guess technically Houston has been long suffering too
  9. Browns secondary looking like the Vikings over the last few weeks.
  10. Didn’t he want to come to MN too? But yeah there was no way to predict what he’s doing.
  11. What happened to that browns defense? My goodness
  12. Oh come on, now we’re officially the worst team in the division? 10th in yards per game with a mishmash of below average quarterbacks playing the final 9 games and hardly any running game to speak of, 16th in yards allowed one year after finishing 31st. 14th in PPG allowed. Only Detroit had more YPG offensively and only Chicago (12th in the league) had fewer allowed PG.
  13. An article breaking down the discussion: https://m.startribune.com/vikings-quarterback-kirk-cousins-nfl-draft-minnesota-jim-souhan/600333344/
  14. They also played some good ones too. 8 games against current playoff teams. I just think the idea that we’re so far away we need to blow it all up and rebuild is a bit overdone. I still think this would have been a playoff team if Kirk doesn’t get hurt. Granted, not a Super Bowl team. But what if the defense gets in to the top 10? I don’t envy the front office this offseason.
  15. Just saw a mock draft from CBS that had them taking Verse from Florida state in the first round.
  16. For as much as we all maligned the defense, especially over the last month or so, they still finished 16th, middle of the pack, in yards allowed. What will it take to make them top 10? With a consistently top 10 offense (with Kirk), the defense doesn’t have to be the 2000 ravens IMO
  17. I mean, not for any meaningful length of time they didn’t. They all had at least one start their first year in the league. Ridder had 4. Levis had 9. I’m saying if Kirk is here for 2 years, I don’t think it would derail any young QB to sit and watch that long, especially if they’re the 4th or so best available
  18. I mean yeah, you can’t predict who would be here/good in a couple years, but there’s far less variables at play compared to a tear down when you have young guys like JJ, Addison and even hockenson. Chandler too. I would rather hand the keys off to an experienced, proven driver rather than a guy who just got his learner’s permit (lol)
  19. What complicates the Kirk situation is that the Vikings aren’t totally devoid of talent. Defensively it’s definitely bad. But offensively they are easily a top ten unit with Kirk. Heck they even finished 10th this year with Kirk missing 9 games. Do you toss all that away and hope the new guy is competent? Or do you take someone, have them sit the bench for 2 years and hope that the defense has gotten a lot better by 2026? I mean maybe the defense could be good by 2025 IF they draft well
  20. Except the quarterback position is between the ears probably more so than other positions. If you trash a guy’s confidence by putting him in when he’s not ready or putting him in on a bad team, then you could ruin the guy’s career. For every burrow and stroud, they are two Zach Wilsons and Mitch trubiskys (who was shockingly taken second overall). Even a guy like baker mayfield was thrown right into the fire and it wasn’t until this season (his 6th in the league) that he’s finally doing good things. You can’t treat the quarterback position like a left tackle or wide receiver. There’s too much responsibility and expectation. No one says we have to go out and get a franchise left tackle.
  21. Bryce young was. So was Zach Wilson, Trey lance, Daniel jones, Justin fields, Sam darnold. All top 10 thrown right in to the mix
  22. Stroud can say hi after Bryce Young, Sam Howell, Will Levis and Desmond Ridder
  23. Why wouldn’t you want him here? He’s old enough where he’s not going to be around more than 2 years. I think the fad of throwing guys right into the fire has probably ruined more careers than it’s helped
  24. Sounds like he’d rather stay. I mean, none of us can even comprehend what it’s like to have his type of money. But still, I’d have to imagine you get to a point where you just have so much money between your contract and your endorsements, are you going to haggle for a couple million more and risk moving to a place you don’t want to be? Especially when you’re older and have kids? Happens all the time to every day people, just on a much smaller scale. It’s not always about the dollars, and he’s become very marketable in recent years. Could take a contract discount and still earn a lot.
  25. So I take it Penix didn’t do well?
