  1. Except there’s an accepted norm in the game that if you make enough mental mistakes, you don’t get to play the game for a spell. Now, Willi got a “talking to” after that Yankees series. And the team still has more brain farts than I see our opponents have. Maybe time for a new tactic then?
  2. The Dobber was that close to having a decent outing
  3. The simplicity of this made me laugh so much
  4. Randy, the guy stole two in a row off you. How about a toss over
  5. Our baserunner holding skills are stinkaroo
  6. Lot of memos going around. People are much less likely to read memos nowadays. With the internet and such
  7. I know I watched Willi Castro almost single handedly lose back to back games against the Yankees with a plethora of boneheaded moves and he never so much as missed an at bat
  8. My man got paid after 15 starts. He’s laughing at all of us
  9. Don’t wait too much longer to ask him how he throws that pitch, LaTroy
  10. There’s a pill for that. And it works in less than 15 minutes now
  11. Week? I made an audible groan whenever someone first brought him up when varland was sent out of the rotation
  12. Where’s the guy on Twitter who was bragging about byron’s health a couple days ago? Since Byron “could have stayed in the game” Sunday and “could have played yesterday”. And didn’t play today and his replacement sunk this game for us
  13. I know major leaguers generally don’t back up plays in the outfield like little leaguers do, but knowing there’s a goofy ass guy out there who can’t play center…you’d think max would be doing a little more hustling there. Maybe he wasn’t told to or needs to be told?
  14. The dobber’s good story was just that
  15. Hey look. Our right fielder was 300 feet away not backing up. Because we’re definitely not poorly coached
  16. Wrong guy playing center As a precaution
  17. The twins give away winnable games. There’s no stat to show that, we all watch the games. 3.5 back at this moment, how many give aways are ok due to poor basics of the game? The best teams are the best at the basics. That’s a big reason why our record against the top 5 or so teams is so bad It’s not solely a Rocco thing, if that’s what bothers you about it
  18. Gleyber Day Torres got yanked mid game for looking at a line drive he hit off the wall the other day. Should have been a double but could only reach first. Same inning got hosed at home plate on a ball hit to the outfield. Yanked. A tiny bit of accountability would be nice. I’ve never been around a successful team/group/workplace that lacked accountability
  19. One of the easiest things to coach in baseball is situational awareness. And the twins have been horrible at it for many years. Maybe it’s an organizational failure more than a singular coach failure, but it is a failure.
  20. We have to be top 5 in extra bases allowed in mlb
  21. He acted as if it were a practical improbability that the runner would tag there
