  1. Interesting that the orioles were 15-28 before making a managerial change. They are 19-16 since. Quite the turnaround in just ten less games.
  2. He’s hurtling past mediocrity and heading towards below average
  3. Oh no I have to watch the Yankees series.
  4. I’m old enough to remember the staff being called elite on this very site. Can’t believe it’s been a month already.
  5. Load managaement for fans. Good for the mental health
  6. Just a reminder that nobody is required to watch if it makes them upset. I’ve been a fan for over 30 years and the last couple seasons have finally had me flipping over to something else when it gets like this. Doesn’t make you a bad fan. No sense in torturing yourself.
  7. lol how about the next week when Joe Webb had to start the playoff game
  8. I honestly hope ober is hurt at this point because if he’s not…the darling of the pitching pipeline might be in serious trouble
  9. How tf are we losing 6-0 in the third inning 😂
  10. When is this organization going to develop actual starting pitching? Two guys were developed in the last 15 years that ended up being competent starters. Berrios and Ober. Ryan pitched two games in the twins system before being called up. Why are other teams seemingly able to develop starters and the twins aren’t? Today, we chose to use an opener because we don’t trust one of the “pipeline” guys we’ve allegedly developed to see the top of the order more than twice. Scouting and development seems to leave a lot to be desired.
  11. Nah, he had 9 IP for St. Paul before joining the twins. Got his development in the Tampa org
  12. How many competent starting pitchers have the twins drafted or developed in the last 15 years? 2?
  13. Maybe we should use festa as the closer next time, with the theory being that the fewer batters he has to face, the better
  14. Yard work beckons. 95 degrees is not usually a good time to cut the grass
  15. He’s only gone more than 1 IP one time all year. He was probably never going to go more than 1.
  16. Lmao you can’t make it up can you? The opener STINKS in theory and in practice
