    Are we actually going to watch the Toronto blue jays win a World Series? I vaguely remember 1993 because of the Phillies but I was also about 7. Felt like they were one of those franchises that would never win one.

    I’ve said for years there should be a way to make the major college programs basically minor league NFL, separated from actual education. Penn state has had to close satellite campuses recently and just bought out their coach for millions of dollars. “But that’s different money, the program is self-sufficient” is the rebuttal. Well if it’s self-sufficient, so be it. Take those kinds of programs and come up with some kind of minor league system. Just my opinion. It’s just crazy to watch the gophers get some second rate bowl game every year, and their coach is locked down for years and tens of millions of dollars. Especially now with many colleges struggling

    I see fleck was given a one year extension this summer….through 2030 😂 $6 million a year plus bonuses. These schools have lost their damn minds.

    Off topic, but I feel sorry for anyone who is truly a fan of the gophers football team. I just watch passively (I only have so much room in my life for bad Minnesota sports teams), but man are they are a perpetual disappointment. I have no idea how long fleck’s contract is for. I’m sure he’s recently got some big extension which seems to be the norm in college football, but the guy clearly should be on thin ice. Struggling at home against a bad Michigan state team after being blown off the field against Iowa. Doesn’t seem to be any improvement over the years.

    They really don’t have any other choice at this point with the season about half over and like a 3% chance of making the playoffs. Just hope for no more injuries

    He’s the #1 backup in New England? That’s a bit scary. But knowing that the patriots are not the Vikings, I’m sure Maye will be healthy for most of his career.

    I think some times coaches need to protect players from themselves sometimes though. Especially in a game that is long lost. But I guess if the player is ok with it, what else can you do. Better than the player asking to come out
