    Got to watch Rochester muster a whole 2 hits in the second game of a DH tonight. Joe went 0-6 and played in both games as DH. Vargas did nothing. Moya started and looked strong, only threw 3 innings. Duffey also looked good.

    I may not be as versed in all the various analytics of today’s baseball, but I feel like Mitch garver needs some defensive work behind the plate

    Their approaches, their swings, even when ahead in counts is abysmal. Rosario and Escobar are about the only guys in the entire lineup worth their salt right now. Even Kepler is now under .240, same with dozier who has been MIA most of the year. There’s something stinky going on and you’d have to wonder how much worse it can actually get.

    Was there ever any doubt cave would strikeout, on 3 pitches no less, to end the game? The cupboard is beyond bare if there isn’t anyone in the system who could come up and give a fraction more production than 7/9 guys in our lineup.

    Honestly there’s something about off days that seems to throw everything haywire. Until yesterday’s comeback in the first game, the team had lost their last 7 games the day after an off day. Probably having a day off after winning 3 in a row may have done something to the big “mo”??? Who knows

    Especially after what should have been a “series to build on”. To take 3 of 4from the division leader and then lay a dud like this, it happens a lot it seems.
