    Torii is now batting .300.
  2. mnsportsgeek
Man, everything is going right for Torii.

I think his 5+ ERA was more of a problem than his run support. 8 dingers in 6 starts was not a good look.
  4. mnsportsgeek
Man, that Vargas at bat was huge. If we leave that inning at 1-0, it's bad news.
  5. mnsportsgeek
Yes! Thank you Kenny! Good at bat.

    Atta boy, Phil.

I honestly don't understand why we signed this guy. He had 1 good year in the national league in 2013 and somehow we have him 12+ mil a year. And he actually has to pitch to 9 batters here in the AL. The worst part about this is we are still stuck with him through 2017. A ridiculous waste of money.

Is there an MVP award for 39-40 year olds?

    PIRHANAS!

Pelfrey actually pitching pretty decently right now.

Don't strike out. Don't strike out. Don't strike out.
  16. mnsportsgeek
He picked up a bat that had pine tar on it and had to go into the dugout to wash it off his throwing hand.
  17. mnsportsgeek
Does anyone have any idea what Pelfrey just did? lol EDIT: Nevermind, looks like we figured it out!
  18. mnsportsgeek
It makes me sad that Pelfrey is back to being erratic.
  19. mnsportsgeek

It's the day of the Eddie's!

I'm really happy to see us bounce back from the loss with a solid game so far. The longer this goes on, the more and more I think that it just might be sustainable.
  24. mnsportsgeek
I think it's safe to switch over to the United.
  25. mnsportsgeek
Agreed. I'm having so much fun.
