  1. Pitching matchup: MIN: Milone (8-4, 3.54) CWS: Quintana (8-10, 3.60) Today the Twins look to get a win from the White Sox, and the A's want to beat the Rangers. #1 Thing to Think About: Minor League Playoffs - The Kernels beat Quad City in the first round of the playoffs, and Max Kepler came up huge for the Lookouts in their first game, but that isn't the whole reason why we are thinking about MILB playoffs. The real reason why we are thinking about MILB playoffs is because we are Twins fans, and Twins fans have a habit of saying, "Well, there are always Minor League games, and the playoffs are fun..." unless you are also a Packers fan, then you go root for the Pack in the fall, but we just might want to hang in here a little longer. #2 Football versus Baseball - Football can be fun, but it can be kind a soap opera at times, with players and commissioners playing games with each other, and referees making really awful calls, and thinking they can redefine what a catch is, (or is that the rule book?) but in the end it all comes down to fans of 31 teams whining and complaining about The Great NFL Conspiracy, and fans of another team screaming, "You are just poor losers! Play by the rules!" Baseball is much more civilized and respectable, except for a few unruly managers, and it won't be big news if the Twins go a season without arrests. #3 Good Guys - Our Good Guys have been playing above what many expected coming out of spring training, and with a win last night they eliminated the possibility of a 90 loss season, plus they are only one game back of a playoff spot, making them not only Good Guys, but good players. Twins Daily members' favorite Good Guy has become Miguel Sano, passing up guys like Glen Perkins, Trevor Plouffe, and Eduardo Escobar. #4 Spam - Twins Daily has been having a lot of spam lately, so much that they have added new moderators to help ban these spammers, but these degenerate creatures of darkness are still trying to make life miserable for our moderators, so I propose that we members help out, and report these bloggers whenever we see these posts, so the mods don't accidentally leave some "watch so and so versus such a one live!!" posts up with uncapitalized letters and all, because any new people coming to Twins Daily might think, "This is what their blogs are like? How stupid." Good Guys: Aaron Hicks CF Brian Dozier 2B Joe Mauer 1B Miguel Sano DH Trevor Plouffe 3B Torii Hunter RF Eduardo Escobar SS Kurt Suzuki C Byron Buxton CF Evil Enemies: Adam Eaton CF Melky Cabrera DH Jose Abreu 1B Avisail Garcia RF Trayce Thompson LF Alexei Ramirez SS Mike Olt 3B Geovany Soto C Carlos Sanchez 2B And tomorrow I am going to my first SPCO concert of the season, and we also have this: http://ep.yimg.com/ty/cdn/yhst-78579118181749/Packers-Bears.jpg
  2. No, there will not be a landslide election for many years, even if Obama was given a chance to run again, the country is to divided for that to happen, and the moderates don't exactly love Obama. People like to vote for change, and Obama would not bring change, although people will vote for the same candidate over and over again if they feel secure, if they are diehard for one party, or the candidate is so different that they think that it is a sure sign that they will fight for them, and Obama does not have any of those.
  3. DANNY VALENCIA, YOU ARE SO NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I have an air rifle of an arm.
  5. Hunter is not always accurate, Hicks usually is, and Rosario is accurate and precise.
  6. It looks more and more like this is true: http://www.freep.com/story/sports/mlb/tigers/2015/09/11/detroit-tigers-brad-ausmus-manager-anthony-fenech/72051382/
  7. Blankenhorn had a decent debut season, finishing with a line of .244/321/347.
  8. Jones was good to start the season, but fell apart later on and was demoted, yet he did return to his dominant ways at the end of the year, making it very likely that he will be added to the 40 man roster this offseason.
  9. Hildenberger was possibly the biggest breakout pitcher in the organization this year, finishing the year with great numbers across the board. 2015 final line: 64 IP, 1.55 ERA, 11.3 K/9, 0.98 BB/9 (80/7), 0.72 WHIP
  10. Bard finished the regular season with a line of: 52.1 IP, 2.41 ERA, 8.1 K/9, 2.6 BB/9 (47/15), and a 1.15 WHIP It was great to see him healthy in 2015, and I believe that he has a good shot at reaching the big leagues if he can continue his success next year.
  11. No, let Duffey, Berrios and what we have currently in the organization be our starters next year, unless you are going after David Price.

  13. He has yet to unthrone the Rays guy.
  14. You will be unable to ask the White Sox fans because she poisons them.
  15. The Royals aren't good, they just make their opponents look bad.
  16. Does Sano run for Vargas?
  17. Ben Zobrist is evil, as are all Royals.
  18. Trevor May's new role is "Destroyer of Twins' Playoff Hopes."
  19. We should petition the White House, with the petition being, "Ban Joe Mauer from swinging at the first pitch."
  20. Shipped to Miami, had TJ, hasn't pitched since.
  21. Baseball was a much more wholesome sport before the Royals' bullpen.
  22. Fien was sharp. Good thing Neil Allen told him to k a couple of batters.
