  1. I would prefer Mauer to start the year and let Santana prove that he can mantain his impressive rookie year pace in the 7-9 holes. After the first month, revisit the topic and potentially push Santana to 1 Mauer to 2 and Dozier back from 2-3. This would be assuming Mauer doesn't find his man muscles and start putting more balls over the fence.
  2. Thanks, his name is Jake Reed not Jason. That was where I was confused!
  3. Thanks, Seth. I misunderstood your piece on him. Hopefully if he make a dominating start to the season he will move up to the FSL and join Stewart. I think he has a chance to rival Stewart for the top pitcher in the system after Meyer and Berrios graduate next season.
  4. His joke about Jason Reed and the NFL.... was he confusing "Jason" with "Jordan" from Washington, or "Jake" the former Viking, or am I missing something?
  5. I think with Molitor in this year we could see some significant changes to the order.
  6. I'm shocked! No one seems to notice the biggest difference between Hughes from NY to MN... it is so obvious that it must go overlooked. The Yankees failed to notice that what Hughes needed the most was in fact a beard. That thing reeks of confidence.
  7. Could Gordon pull off a Buxton-esk first full season and shoot up prospect rankings? How do their first half seasons compare?
  8. Love all the answers! I love hearing random names like Brian Dinkelman. I find myself often times cheering on the underdogs. Berrios draft day video is amazing and I revisit it occasionally. I then watch other top prospects get drafted and note the complete 180 in reacts. Berrios seems to really realize the opportunity he has been given and is determined to make the most of it. Aderlin Mejia is another player that I really pull for. Since his jump from EST to Ft. Myers.
  9. I hope to see much more of Arcia standing on 2nd, after a go-ahead double, screaming at the dugout holding an "O" over his head with his hands. I can't wait for more personality like his and Sano's on this team. That's fun to watch.
  10. We all have. A player in the Twins system that we keep tabs on almost daily to see how they did. Some of us get to adopt them in the Adopt-A-Prospect event here on Twins Daily while most miss out because they are already picked by another member of TD. A few years ago I found myself obsessing over Arcia in the short season leagues and I followed his development all the way to the majors. Next came Pinto. And lately I have really been pulling for Rosario. I became a fan when he was mashing with Sano in E-town and I will stick with him to the majors. There isn't any real common factor with the three that make me such a fan. I just like them because I do I guess. Who is your favorite prospect and why? Past prospects that maybe didn't succeed or did?
