The main thing is Buxton's development. He didn't perform well at all at the ML level, and then he got injured, so his being at AAA makes perfect sense. Let him learn plate discipline, and we'll see him at the ML soon enough.
I agree. Even if it blows up in Molitor's face now and then, it shows confidence in your starting pitcher to leave him in rather than kneejerk go to the bullpen. It's new old way of managing. Love it.
I like how the Angels TV broadcast (and the A's) don't use FoxTrax or Fox Tracker or whatever you want to call that strike calling computer thingy ... Not even on close calls that are replayed. I like that. I take it back. They just showed FoxTracks thing on Escobar's strike out. What do I know? They don't use it "often"?
