  1. I think I'll drive up to see Santana pitch tomorrow night. I'll be lucky if my average speed is what we just saw from Byron Buxton.
  2. When Gibson starts getting tired, best to yank him a guy early. They just yanked him a guy late.
  3. This could be trouble. Up and in to Pujols? Absolutely.
  4. Up and in to Simmons. Keep doing that, Gibby!
  5. Dang, I could see Buxton lined up to miss that outside pitch. Needs to square off his stance. He still tends to bail with his front hip, leaving him meat for outside stuff. Bring back the kick, Buxton!
  6. Thanks, buddy. I'm going to get the plastic replaced, a few things bent back into shape, then be on the bike again getting ready for some motorcycle camping trips. I'll be putting many thousands of miles on my little Tiger 800. This is just a blip.
  7. Dang, this is the best I've seen Gibson pitch in... ever? Great mix of pitches, excellent command, moving them off the plate with inside stuff, and a little good fielding, too.
  8. Gibson's getting a bit of baseball luck here with that DP. There, now he's pitching inside again. Are he learning??
  9. I hit the rear end of a very pretty Cadillac, while I was trying a California thing called "lane splitting." I didn't do it very well, should have allowed more room between me and the car in front before I ducked between lanes. I saw another biker doing it, then said, "heck, I can do that." Then I glanced back to see if there was another bike following the first guy. That's when the Cadillac hit his brakes. Whoops. Interestingly, the bike didn't go down. Somehow I hopped off the bike and held it up. I don't remember how.
  10. Almost. Lost a bunch of plastic off the left side yesterday. Very. Expensive. Plastic.
  11. Anybody know if Berrios is starting Sunday? I'm trying to decide which Twins/Angels game to drive to, now that my motorcycle is semi-grounded.
  12. Sano gets hits off swings that for other hitters would be a mistake. That bounces Ramirez.
  13. Am I wrong, or is Joe Mauer... Oh, never mind.
  14. Ow, there goes Grossman's blazing speed...
  15. With no shame I will admit, that screaming one-hopper would have owned me. Not in my wildest dreams of athletic prowess (except the one where I could fly) would I have fielded that ball. Nice play, Joe Mauer!
  16. Nice sinking fastball. Knee high at 93 mph.
  17. Nothing inside from Gibson... up and in, buddy.
  18. I'll admit I'm a little worried about Pujols...
  19. Not down and in, Gibby. Up and in. Move their chin, not just their feet.
  20. I'm a big fan of the Road Twins. Not so much the Home Twins.
  21. You're renting a place in Antigua, Guatemala? Sound tre cool.
  22. I digs me some Polanco, but I wanna see a better arm at short. Vielma or Gordon.
  23. That K of Pujols courtesy of three inside pitches, which stopped Pujols from leaning over the plate. Keep it up, Gibbie, up and under the chin!
  24. Liking this Gibson so far. Two pitches inside to Pujols. Now three.
